The International Center for the Study of Violent Extremism is excited to offer its latest innovative, free training: Understanding and Responding to Hate Crimes in the Context of University Protests.
From 11 am to 12:30 pm EST on Tuesday, Nov 12, 2024, the Director of ICSVE, Dr. Anne Speckhard will be sharing our experience and knowledge regarding hate crimes, what constitutes a hate crime, insights into why offenders commit them as well as address specifically how law enforcement can work to prevent hate crimes, provide the best response for those affected, help our communities to stay safe and best practices in tracking and reporting. Certificates of attendance will be issued for those who participate in the pre and post-quizzes.
